EXCHAEXCHANGE

Out of Touch Within Reach  . . . .On The Road

I spoke to a college class this month about mental health. It was an awesome experience!  It was totally God lead and he gave me the gift of grace and peace to share my story and answer questions that I know will help others and, maybe someone in the class that needs help.  Where ever you go, you can be sure that God has sent you there for a reason.
I have since spoken to the teacher of the class and she again, thanked me for sharing my story and told me that it has generated a lot of discussion.  That is exactly what I wanted to happen, to get people talking and getting educated about what they can do to get help themselves or help someone else.
I found my purpose and plan to continue to share my experiences with others to keep mental health awareness at the for front of the minds of many so we can help those that are in the dark about these illnesses and are afraid to shed light on this subject due to the stigma that is placed on them.
We must advocate for those things that we believe in and tell our story to others so they can listen, hear, and understand, and have the ability to make good decisions, change their minds and the minds of others and save lives.
